A reconfigured Synergy V8 architecture has created a 3.0 Litre version, available for gasoline or methanol fueling.
The original engine architecture had been designed to accommodate a larger bore and stroke, now increased to 87mm and 63mm respectively. The engine has been thoroughly tested in the dynamometer cell with pleasing results, and delivery to first customer has been made.
With the existing 2400cc camshaft and cylinder head combination, the 3L engine produces 460hp, and is available in standard or stressed installation form.
Further development of cylinder head, camshaft and induction system is underway, with release of an further power level specification mid 2012.
